Formed in dank basement in Newcastle at the end of 2011, Parastatic was the coming together of long time collaborators Neil Caffery and Jon Garrard with electronica maestro Rich Telford (who left the band in 2013 and Rachel Casey joined on live drums – taking the band’s sound into a more direct, propulsive dimension on an oscillating line between shoegaze, kosmische and post-rock.
