McHale's Permanent Brew formed in 2017 in honour of Frank McHale’s love of 60 & 70s inspired guitar based rock. The band includeing Frank McHale on guitars, Paul McHale, guitar and vocals, Stephen Houghton, bass guitar, and Simon Lomax on keyboard, continued to evolve over the next few years, releasing its debut self-titled album and developing a sound that would make for an electrifying live set.
