BAND

Since 2023 Belfast-based 'tradtronica' band Huartan has been breathing new life into ancient words and melodies. Their shared vision is to reintroduce contemporary audiences to the oral singing traditions, cultures and native language of Ulster. Their live act is sensual and otherworldly, featuring costumes and high-energy backing dancers that embody the presence of síogaí (fairies/shapeshifters).
