In 2004, the band, whose name is a tribute to NBA basketball player Michael Finley, recorded a demo called Make Up Your Own Mind, which caught the attention of superstar producer Claudio Cecchetto, who found them a record deal. Since then, Finley have sold over 1,300,000 records in Italy and won many prestigious international awards.
