Alan Barnes and Andy Panayi first played together more than three decades ago, and since then have both gone on to be multi-award winners. This sextet plays post-bop tunes from a golden era of jazz, including some from the 1959 album 'The Cannonball Adderley Quintet in Chicago', re-released in 1964 as 'Cannonball and Coltrane' and John Coltrane's album 'Blue Train' from 1957.
