The Italian rapper popularly known as Alfa was born Andrea De Filippi in Genoa. Hailing from the Quarto dei Mille neighbourhood, he began his musical studies at the age of 8, taking guitar and piano lessons. As a teenager, he took part in several freestyle battles in his city, before making his debut in 2018 with the single "Dove Sei?".
