Paul Merton is an English writer, actor, comedian and radio and television presenter. Known for his improvisation skills, Merton's humour is rooted in deadpan, surreal and sometimes dark comedy. He is most recognised as a resident panellist on Have I Got News For You, his appearance on the British version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Radio 4's Just a Minute.
