Stargirrl is a rapper based in Bristol. Born in Birmingham at the centre of the grime scene, Stargirrl got into writing poetry from the age of 6 to articulate her feelings and, much later, to express her political frustrations. Her music infuses her grime background with a conscious lyrical sound and is inspired by artists like John Glacier and Little Simz.
