Pasadena-based singer/songwriter Fana Hues is keeping the faith of the foundations of R&B and considers it to be the foundation of pop music today. Hues is a product of growing up in a musical household, one of nine children. Many of her influences come from the likes of Nina Simone, Dionne Warwick, Anita Baker, Beyonce, and Mary J. Blige.
